HALO Hydro Point
The HALO Hydro Point is an under-counter drinking water filter for homes that want clean, great-tasting water without a reverse-osmosis system and its drain water. Two cartridge stages handle sediment and chlorine chemistry, and the unit adds a few plumbing-protection extras.
Two stages, plus protection
Stage one is a 5-micron radial-flow sediment pre-filter that traps rust and particulate to about 1 micron. Stage two is a 0.5-micron coconut-shell carbon block that reduces chlorine and chlorination byproducts, VOCs, pesticides and herbicides by mechanical and adsorptive filtration. The filters use antimicrobial media to discourage bacterial growth.
Built in are a HALO air-hammer arrestor to soften pressure spikes and extend the life of the plumbing, and a leak detector that shuts the water off if it senses a leak under the sink. A smart faucet signals when the filters are due — about once a year.
RO or not
Hydro Point is the simpler option: it does not remove dissolved solids, fluoride or PFAS the way reverse osmosis does, but it wastes no water, keeps water minerals intact, and flows faster. Milani will walk you through which one suits your water and how you use it.

How Milani installs and looks after it
Milani installs HALO equipment on the main line where water enters the home (or, for drinking-water and point-of-use units, under the kitchen sink), tests your water first so the system is matched to what you actually have, and sets it up with the correct bypass and shut-offs so future service is simple. Where a unit has replaceable cartridges or media, we tell you the schedule and supply the parts.

Warranty
The HALO Hydro Point carries HALO's limited warranty on the manifold and valves; cartridges are a yearly maintenance item. Milani registers the system and supplies the H-HYDRO-KIT.
