MERV 16 plus carbon
MERV 16 captures a very high share of fine particles — smoke, fine dust, many bacteria-sized particles — while staying passive (no electricity, no ozone). The carbon layer adsorbs common household odors and some chemical vapors that a particle filter alone lets through.
Low upkeep
The deep pleats give the filter a large surface area, so it loads slowly — most homes change it about once a year. Milani supplies the correct replacement cartridge.
