Highly Filtered Softening Combo
The Highly Filtered Softening Combo is HALO's answer for hard water that also needs serious filtration: the HALO 5 handles chlorine, sediment, metals and taste while the CK10 softener removes hardness completely by ion exchange. The two are sized and installed as a set.
Filter and softener, working together
The HALO 5 goes first — its carbon stages strip chlorine and contaminants, which also protects the softener resin downstream. The CK10 then exchanges calcium and magnesium for sodium or potassium and regenerates on a metered schedule based on actual water use.
The result is filtered, conditioned and fully softened water at every tap and appliance.
What to expect
This is a two-tank installation plus a brine tank, so it needs floor space and a drain. In exchange you get the most complete treatment HALO offers for a hard-water home, with a 10-year warranty on both the HALO 5 and the CK10.

How Milani installs and looks after it
Milani installs HALO equipment on the main line where water enters the home (or, for drinking-water and point-of-use units, under the kitchen sink), tests your water first so the system is matched to what you actually have, and sets it up with the correct bypass and shut-offs so future service is simple. Where a unit has replaceable cartridges or media, we tell you the schedule and supply the parts.
