CX Combi Boiler
The IBC CX Combi is a wall-hung, gas-fired condensing combination boiler, offered as the CX 150 and CX 199. It handles both space heating and domestic hot water from a single cabinet, reaches 95% AFUE, and modulates 10:1 so its output tracks the actual load instead of cycling hard on and off.
One wall-hung unit, two jobs
As a combination boiler the CX supplies hot water to the taps on demand through a brazed-plate heat exchanger, as well as heat to the hydronic loop — so there is no separate tank to install or maintain. Full boiler capacity is available to both space heating and domestic hot water.
The CX 150 delivers about 4.1 GPM at a 70°F temperature rise; the CX 199 delivers about 5.5 GPM. Wall-hung mounting frees the floor space a tank-and-boiler pairing would take up.
Condensing efficiency with deep modulation
At 95% AFUE almost every dollar of gas becomes usable heat. A 10:1 turndown (CX 150: 15–150 MBH input; CX 199: 20–199 MBH) lets the burner throttle right down for mild days and up for deep cold, which keeps water temperature steady and cuts short-cycling.
The heat exchanger is a stainless steel firetube design, with IBC's patented MFZ moisture-management system and a built-in outdoor reset control. It vents in PVC, CPVC or PPs — up to 150 ft of 3" on the CX 199 — so it does not need an existing chimney.
Built-in zoning and smart control
The CX has a 4-zone pump and valve control built into the cabinet (up to five pumps total), so a multi-zone hydronic system can often be wired without an external zoning panel. The V-10 touchscreen interface has an express setup routine and supports remote monitoring, and service parts are common across the IBC lineup.

Warranty
IBC residential boilers carry a limited warranty on the heat exchanger and parts; the exact term depends on the model and on the boiler being installed by a qualified contractor and registered. Milani registers the boiler at installation and keeps the documentation.
